20/02/11 - Key personnel announcement

Prospect Insurance Brokers is delighted to announce that following his retirement from Kiln, Bruce Shepherd will be joining their board on 1st October 2012 (subject to Lloyd's approval).

Bruce has more than 40 years experience in the Lloyd's insurance market, culminating as deputy underwriter of syndicate 807. Starting his career as a broker, he joined Kiln in 1982 and was made a director in 1992.

He has had a long and mutually profitable relationship with the principals of Prospect. He brings to Prospect the fruits of his extensive experience in all short tail classes, especially medical and legal expenses and property business both direct and reinsurance.

01/09/11 - Rugby Dinner

On Monday the 22^ndof August Prospect Insurance Brokers attended the Official England Rugby send-off dinner at Twickenham. With our key Underwriters also present it was an opportunity for us to thank them for their continued support. The evening was a great success and highly enjoyable with a tour of the stadium, fantastic meal and entertainment from Madness! Being able to rub shoulders with the players and wish them luck for the upcoming tournament was very special.

We also made a donation to Sport Relief via a charity auction with the winning bid for a signed French and Saunders tour jacket. This priceless item will now become our equivalent of the Masters Green Jacket for all future golf tournaments!

08/07/11 - Charity update

On the 19th of June, 2011 two members of the Prospect team successfully completed the London to Brighton bike ride. They managed to raise £4000 for the British Heart Foundation and cover the 54 mile course in good time; we are all very proud of their achievement. Prospect have also made a donation to The Artemis Charitable Foundation in support of Kiln Underwriters who are embarking on a Quadrathlon. They will be running, swimming, kayaking and cycling their way over 57 miles and we wish them the best of luck.

01/04/11 - Prospect launches its new UK Property Scheme for the Travelling and Gypsy Community - Outlook Home Insurance

On the 1st of April, 2011 Prospect Brokers formally launched its new UK Property scheme called Outlook Home Insurance.  Outlook provides a comprehensive Home Insurance package to the UK's Traveller and Gypsy community for the first time.  This exciting new product is available exclusively via Outlook Insurance.  It covers Static Caravans, Tourers or Vardo's however to qualify the property must be located on a private or government owned site.  For more details please click on the link below for Outlook's website.

11/01/11 - Prospect celebrate their First Birthday.

Our first year in operation has flown by and what a year its been.  Prospect has exceeded all its first year objectives and targets and 2011 looks set to be an even more profitable year.  Wishing you all a Happy and Prosperous 2011 from the Prospect Team.
