We are looking to develop specialised areas of business with intermediaries. Some examples of projects we have completed or are working on are given below.

Limousines & Chauffeurs

This hard to place area has been a recent success for Prospect. The National Limousines & Chauffeur Association have previously found that its members have difficulty in finding insurance for their cars, be it a vintage Rolls Royce or the latest stretched limousine. Prospect helped create a new exclusive scheme catering for all member's needs.

Garden Centres

Working with one of the countries leading intermediaries, we are currently developing a new scheme for Garden Centres and Nurseries. The tailor made product will cater for the specialist needs of this growing industry.

Travel Insurance

Working with experts in the travel industry, Prospect will be launching a new travel scheme shortly. The emphasis will be on offering competitive terms to the over 50's.

Hospices

Developing from our work on nursing homes, Prospect have developed a coverage suitable for hospices and we are looking to work with groups in this area.

Heritage

Prospect are working with a number of major clients in this area to provide insurance that recognises the unique requirements of heritage property owners. Many of their contents may be irreplaceable and repairs may be more costly due to regulatory requirements. Prospect work closely with such clients and are involved in every step, from the complex surveys carried out to the placement of the risk and any ongoing renovations and improvements to the property.

Unusual groups of Insureds

Prospect research groups of people that have found it difficult to secure appropriate insurance. We have been very successful in providing such groups with solutions to meet their needs at a reasonable cost.

In April 2011 Prospect launched the 'Outlook Home Insurance'  scheme to cater for the needs of the Gypsy and Traveller community, the only such scheme in the insurance industry. Also, we are currently in contact with a leading organisation that works with people in disadvantaged areas and we hope to develop a home contents scheme for those on low incomes. We welcome enquiries from the representatives of similar groups.
