Prospect Insurance Brokers Limited is delighted to announce their expansion into the Latin American market with the opening of an office in Chile to serve the region. Prospect have appointed Mauricio Loyola Goich as ‘Head of Latin America’ and he will be based in Santiago. Mr. Loyola was previously General Manager at Integro Chile and Willis Reinsurance Chile.
Prospect Managing Director Jamie Webb commented ‘we are delighted to announce our partnership with Mauricio Loyola Goich to expand our footprint in Chile and the whole Latin American market. As a smaller, independent broker we need to be more entrepreneurial than some of our larger multi-national competitors in the way in which we grow and expand our distribution and presence internationally. Mauricio has a proven track record of establishing and growing business in South America and we are eager to provide him with the tools necessary to do so. Whilst Mauricio can benefit from the backing of an established Lloyd’s broker and support services we provide, we will gain from having his unique experience and expertise on the ground in Chile.’
Mauricio Loyola commented, ‘I am excited to get to work in establishing Prospect’s presence in the Chilean and Latin American market as a market-leading niche re(insurance) broker who can place the hard to place risks as well as standard Lloyd’s market business. I am aligned to Prospect’s innovative culture and looking forward to helping them promote some of the niche products they specialise in like Forestry, Cyber and Drone (re)insurance along with more standard lines like Property, Cargo, Construction, General Liability and Accident and Health.’
